Overflowing Abundance
The R.E.A.L. women of Royal Redeemer hosted a Spring event with Donna Snow on April 18th. The Bible Study theme was "Overflowing Abundance" This Bible study focused on the feeding of the five thousand (which is the only miracle recorded in all four Gospels) from the gospel of Matthew 14: 13-21. "Sometimes, in seasons of stress and brokenness, we keep our eyes down. Trudging forward. Never looking up to see our Provider. Yet when Christ is present, the weary find rest, and the hungry soul is satisfied".
We started the event with prayer, song, and lots of delicious food! Raffles, giveaways, more food - oh my! Tons of fun and fellowship with Lutheran women in the Cleveland South-West zone. Thank you to the women of Royal Redeemer for hosting this very special Bible study with Donna Snow. Your time and talent were greatly appreciated – well done faithful servants!
Spring Rally 2024
The Cleveland South-West Spring Rally was hosted by the faithful ladies of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cleveland. We were greeted with warm smiles, lots of love, and of course - chocolate! The tables were beautiful decorated with center pieces that had plastic eggs, stuffed with chocolate candy. After we stuffed ourselves with a delicious continental breakfast (and chocolate), the rally started with devotions from our Zone Pastor, Pastor Hoffman. He used the analogy of the Eclipse as some souls are still in the dark and need light. We need to spread His word, so that those who are lost in the dark, may see the light.
Brian Upton from Building Hope in the City was our guest speaker. Brian gave an informative speech about the services BHITC provides in the community and how it works. He stated how LWML mission grants helped BHITC grow and prosper within the community. Zone President, Julie Gresko, thanked the ladies of Trinity for their time and effort in putting together this special event and provided upcoming events in the zone. President Vivian Nelson was our special guest and spoke about the upcoming Ohio District Convention and encouraged everyone to attend. For the servant event, we put together 50 hygiene items in bags and wrote a special message to the recipients. Kudos to the ladies from Trinity Lutheran church for making this Spring Rally a success!
