2024 Fall Rally
Eleven ladies attended the LWML Lima-Van Wert Zone fall rally at St. Thomas, Ohio City, on September 28, 2024. PastorHayden Folks led the Bible study about Gospel: Salvation, Justification,and Metaphors. First time convention attendee Heather Davis enthusiastically reported about the Canton convention. The ingathering of many food items and paper products was later taken to Lima Samaritan House, a shelter for women and children.. Following the business meeting, Pastor and the ladies enjoyed a delicious brunch served by the ladies of St. Thomas.
2024 Spring Rally
The Lima-Van Wert spring rally was held on April 27 at Emmanuel Van Wert. Infant and toddler sized clothing and diapers were collected for Heartbeat of Lima, an organization that offers hope, education, and resources to families who are pregnant or parenting children up to age three. A monetary donation was also sent with Ann Cox who spoke to the group about Heartbeat's mission.
