A message from Past President Karen Shanahan:
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up (1 Thessalonians 5:11).
Why do we share our lives with those of the LWML? It is through our friendships and our service that we find purpose and strength. Yes, strength, knowing that we are always among those who lift us up when we need support. Yes, purpose, knowing that we have a purpose to help others and through LWML many opportunities to build each other up.
So we continue, whether happy or sad; in good and bad health; with little time but sharing the time we have; discouraged or hopeful we march on to the Glory of the Lord, the Lord of the Nations!
If you can... attend the 2023 LWML 40th Biennial Convention. A celebration of giving and thereby receiving blessings that abound.

Easter Creation Workday - April 1, 2Our Easter Cards023
The ladies of the LWML Toledo Zone joined together on April 1, 2023 to create and distribute Easter greeting cards which were sent to homebound church members, those in the military and Luther Home of Mercy residents. We had great fellowship and sharing. Four Zone churches had ladies participating.

Valentine Creation Workday - February 4, 2023
Our Cards
The LWML Toledo zone sponsored a Valentine card creation workday on Saturday, February 4, 2023, in the Luther Room of Trinity Lutheran Church, Toledo. The goal was to create 100 Valentine cards which will be sent to the residents of Luther Home of Mercy in Williston, Ohio, and to home bound church members. There were 15 ladies who represented four of our zone groups sharing the joy of creating 140 cards which well exceeded the goal! We shared friendship, joy, and even some snacks.We plan to meet again in time to make Easter cards to share with others. Our many thanks to the instructors, Barb, Deb, Peggy, and Chris and to the organizer of the event, Sarah Rusche.

Human Care Workshop - September 10,2022
A productive day was held by the women of the Toledo zone as they met from 9AM to 2 PM at Trinity, Toledo, to serve the Lord by making No sew fleece blankets and pillows; T-shirt diapers (Orphan Grain Train); Phil's Friends Notes and Mission Bracelets. They also enjoyed a wonderful lunch and fellowship.
